Who is the Next CJ?

November 1, 2007 · 4 Comments

I am sure by this morning, most Malaysians woke up with a better day.

Really?

The tussle behind the scene was actually quite intense. PM wanted Tun Zaki, the ex-UMNO Legal Counsel to helm the post (Maverick SM, you are so right!). However, Sultan Azlan and our current King rejected vehemently. Sources told us. So, PM annouced Tun Hamid to be acting CJ (Why only acting CJ?).

Again, we owe our royalties twice for standing up for the people. Daulat Tuanku, from the bottom of my heart!

Tun Hamid is often lauded as a professional and great legal mind. Malaysian Judiciary is heading for better days, for now. Hopefully we will soon give due justice to a high profile murder case.

Behind the scene another round of intense lobbying could be in the making. Another Lingam tape in the making?

Thanks! So I did guess right? But, who then would be CJ? We only had an Acting?

BTW, history had proven that man can be converted; Jocelyne was a convert, Khairy was a convert, only Nazri is a recalcitrant.

Correction, my dear! It’s Justice Datuk Abdul Hamid. He wasn’t even a Tan Sri yet.

I call him Datuk Abdul Hamid, Chief Justice of Malaysia. I hope that the King will renew this contract for two years before we can find a suitable candidate to replace him. Don’t let Pak Lah or Narzi to do the selection or else we don’t have ending court case in Malaysia. Datuk Zaki is waiting for right time to strike. If he is to be appointed the next CJ, our judiciary system will be 4th class justice system in the world. Wake up Malaysian don’t be fool by the BN government.

Breaking news. Abdul Hamid is new CJ. Zaki Azmi has been made CA president, and may be the new CJ when Abdul Hamid retires in 10 months. Will Sultan Azlan and the King prevent this from happening? If the future CJ is an UMNO man, how can we say with a straight face that our judiciary is independent? No wonder HINDRAF is bringing their case to the UK courts.
